Welcome to Swarpanthi (राह रियाज़ की), a dedicated digital sanctuary for learning Hindustani Classical and Light Vocal Music. Under the guidance of an expert teacher with over two decades of vocal teaching experience, our mission is to make authentic Indian music education accessible to aspirants worldwide.
We teach classical techniques using a structured approach that preserves the richness of the traditional teacher-disciple parampara while integrating the convenience of modern virtual learning systems.

The defining feature of Swarpanthi. Understanding that learning music requires daily dedication, we provide a structured virtual collective space for regular practice.
Overcome the hurdle of practicing alone. Sing alongside other aspirants under virtual check-ins that encourage punctuality and focus.
Practice voice holding, scale accuracy with Tanpura accompaniment, and beat synchronizations in real time.
Follow specific vocal exercises designed to build vocal range, register stability, and breathing control systematically.
Getting Ready
To ensure the highest quality of audio and clear feedback during vocal training sessions, we recommend students prepare the following setup:
A minimum of 5 Mbps upload/download speed for seamless video and low-latency audio transmission.
A laptop, tablet, or desktop computer. Visual feedback is crucial for correcting sitting posture and breathing methods.
Essential to prevent echo and feedback loops during live sessions, ensuring you hear the Tanpura clearly.
Apps like iShala, Tanpura Droid, or a physical electronic Tanpura configured to your vocal scale.
A peaceful environment allows you to sing freely without external noises interfering with your microphone.

Frequently Asked Questions
You should join our Swarpanthi Shadaj course. It is custom-designed for beginners to build pitch stability, master the first 30 Alankaars in slow tempo, identify notes (swaras), and understand basic rhythm counts (Taali/Khali) before advancing.
All classes are held virtually in real-time batches on Sundays. We use video conferencing platforms where students receive live instruction and direct feedback from the Teacher. Batches are structured, small, and interactive.
The Riyaz Room is a unique practice chamber that meets for 1 hour on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It is not mandatory but highly recommended. It serves as a collective space where students do guided vocal warm-ups, pitch sustaining exercises, and Alankaar repetition to build routine, voice strength, and consistency.
Fees are payable monthly. We support various digital payment methods including UPI, credit/debit cards, and Net Banking. For international students outside India, we can configure secure global payment links to accept international credit cards.
